Message from the Fire Marshal

The mission of the Fire Prevention Bureau is to further the science of fire prevention & safety in the community, with specific focus on life & protection of property. This is accomplished through education, inspection, and enforcement.

The Fire Prevention Bureau specializes in fire and hazard mitigation, helping to ensure dangerous situations in the community are prevented.  Our fire inspectors are available for situations that require a fire permit, or if a hazard is noticed by a member of the community.  To report a potentially dangerous situation, please contact us; or, if there is an imminent danger to life or property, dial 911.
